Laila is the founder & CEO of Health Beyond Borders in Dubai. It’s a bespoke Dubai based health care advisory firm focused on; Healthcare Strategy and Research, Health Investment, Health Insurance, Healthcare planning, Medical Tourism Consulting.

Prior to this Laila was the CEO of Health Policy and Strategy at Dubai Health Authority. She was responsible for the development of the health policy and legislation for the Emirate of Dubai. She was leading the process of Dubai health reform in 2007, and the development of Dubai Health Insurance 2009. Laila also was leading the Dubai medical tourism initiative which was launched by Crown Prince in 2012.

Laila was awarded the Feigenbaum Excellence Leadership Award for ” Women’s leaders”. Recently she has been awarded as one of the 50of “GCC Women leaders”. Laila served as a member of Board of Governor for Rak Medical & Health Sciences University and board member of Dubai Pakistan Association which is non for profit. She is also a founding member of Global Health Travel Council since 2013.
