Hosted by the country that chairs the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) every year, the 6th Global Healthcare Travel Forum (GHTF2024), which brought together industry leaders, academics, health and tourism professionals and policy makers, was held this year with the addition of a new conference section. It was held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus with the participation of more than 300 delegates from 50 countries.

The organization was attended by the President of the TRNC, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance, the Founding President of GHTC, delegates who chaired and managed the Global Healthcare Travel Council, and representatives from the TRNC and Türkiye in the fields of health, tourism and education, presidents and managers of authorized unions and more than 300 delegates from 50 countries.

 

25 keynote speakers attended the forum sessions held within the scope of GHTF 2024, where the topics of Future of Global Health Tourism, Health and Sustainable Development Goals, Travel for Health, Health Services and Climate Change, Health Services and Technologies, Wellness and Wellbeing, Health Tourism and Advanced Active Living were discussed.
